Statement about our Royal Canadian Military

The Macdonald-Cartier Society is happy to note Federal Defense Minister Peter Mackay’s decision to add “Royal Canadian” to the respective titles of our army, navy, and air force. As Peter Mackay himself pointed out, it was under those names that our military brought great honor to Canada, and it seems only fitting that our military titles should reflect that proud heritage.
